Thankfully, his pain was not out of the ordinary. He nodded to this, wondering why pain was a good thing. He only knew pain as a nuisance and something that brought him down-- did the queen experience pain differently. “Why is pain good?” he asked, canting his head heavily to the side.

She then called him and he looked to her steadily, nodding at once. Thankfully, as she had said, the water was doing wonders for him. Despite the agitation he felt, he pressed forwards. But as he continued further, a sudden sharp pain caused him to halt about halfway.

Yelping instantly, the child paused and flattened his ears, looking desperately to his healer, wondering why it was hurting more despite the fact that he was just about weighless at this point. He frowned as he waited for her response.
