By now, with all the lonesome wandering and running here and there, the small yellow-eyed vagabond had a pretty good idea of her surroundings. She had been to the lake where all ducks in the world seemed to gather to quack and swim in circles together. She had been to the fox-filled woods and the precious flowery meadow.
But she had not yet been here. 

Aurelia sniffed around, her back recieving the warmth of the midday sun as she began to explore the area. Hunger was not an issue right now as she had happened to find an injured bird that served as good brunch before entering the yet uncharted forest she was currently in. The sound of rushing water somewhere near kept her moving, she would like a drink or a swim because the sun, oh golden sphere of the skies,was burning hot today.

As she walked, a soft hum of a childhood lullaby fell freely from her lips.
