Wapun Meadow Glorious goldenrods

Now that Nunataq was nearing her fifth month in this world, she was often found on the fringes of Bearclaw valley's territory. Often she would mimic the job other guardians did - pretending to be alert and very important, leaving pee marks (though her control of the bladder was not that strong yet and more often than not she left a whole puddle of urine rather than sparing some drops and saving the rest for later) and practicing her growling and barking at invisible intruders. Now and then she would attack a branch or tree, which were her imagined enemies, and mauled them to bits and pieces. At those moments she would step back, take a look at the wreckage and feel happy for a job well-done.

She had also began to learn to hunt and, therefore no wonder that today she was found further away from her home, in the Wapun meadow. She did not consider it to be a foreign place, because the home was still in close vicinity and also her dad had taken her here, which, according to her mind, was simply an extension to her home. A front porch and yard to her already spacious house. Here she plowed through the grass, keeping her tail up as a sort of a flag, took in and followed various smells and all in all felt happy, excited, engaged and highly motivated.
