But Bat knew it was probably a bad idea to get soaking wet, with the air so cool. The thought actually sent a shiver down her spine. Rather than diving in, she gazed wistfully across the river to the falls.

Eventually, she glanced sideways at Cinder, smiling at the look of enraptured wonder on his face. "It's kinda like the one at the plateau, only it's like... twice, maybe three times, as big," Bat observed, raising her voice to be heard over the crashing water. "I wish we could go for a swim!" she added ruefully.
