She thought it odd that the other wolf was able to lift her large body and fling her to the ground in such a way, but it happened regardless of how she felt about it. To rub salt in the wound, Vespera felt the need to hold her face to the ground after it was clear she had already won the spar. Had Brynn been a more proud wolf than she was, she might have been ruffled by such a display, but instead, she just silently struggled to get up and assuming her packmate obliged, she stood and shook out her coat.
Uh, good job. Nice fighting skills,she offered with a polite smile. It was a genuine congratulations, she just felt a little sore and out of sorts.
