Phoenix Maplewood oh she dreams

When she saw the wolfess wasn’t leaping to snap at her tail, she dropped down and faced the growling predator. She stalked closer, not fearing her ability to maim should the toy decide to use teeth against her. 
What an inferior being. 

She cast her gaze over the small creature before letting her lips ride up to bare at the creature and a low warning sound rumbled from her. Her tail lashed behind her, displeased by the show of her toy that should be cowing before her. She extended her claws, her eyes tracing the body.
What would she strike first? 

She brought her paw up, tentative and curious. She brought it down, hard and harsh, on the face of the wolfess again — clawless. She quickly brought the other paw up and clouted the toy across the ear.  She would give it a chance before trying to shred it, or maybe she’d simply let it go. They wouldn’t know until it was done.
