he doesn't notice the other male at first, too distracted by the dizzying chase, but it doesn't take very long for him to realize someone is spinning beside him. it takes him a moment to bring his limbs to a stop, but the combination of momentum and dizziness sends him careening to the side. he goes down gracelessly just as he hears the other call something out, landing against something too warm and furry to be the earth. his ears flush as he realizes it's the other wolf and he scrambles to get up. he manages to remove himself from the other male, but trips himself again in his haste and tumbles to the ground a couple feet away. the second impact knocks the air from his lungs, and he can only lie in a dazed, breathless heap for a few moments.
