But each time she touched him it undid the work he'd done to button it all up.  Unbuttoned, even.  Maybe something more scandalous for a metaphor because have you seen the other threads going on right now??  Anyway, oh fine, torture him into talking, we all see how it is.  If she wanted to know, then he felt obligated to try and pour it all out in a nice decanter for her.  The only problem was how did he even begin to explain it? To admit this should have been dealt with last year.

There were those that were lost.  Raven had been the one to accept their passing, but Quixote hadn't even tried, so the ghosts waited for him instead.  It had slowly been eating at him, and now look where he'd ended up.  It was not the way he'd expected things to go, nor was it the way anyone would have wanted.  He just wanted them all to be safe and happy, free of the horrors the world might throw at them.
