Yami could see the admiration on Firefly's face out of the corner of her eye as she tried to play it cool by gazing out over the ledge at the terrain stretched out before them. She was quite pleased with the attention, as well as with the compliments that were thrown her way. She glanced sidelong at him and shrugged. "I grew up on a mountain," she informed him, "You learn things."

She watched him lunge for the fawn and licked her lips. She'd caught her breath now, but still was willing to wait until he'd severed a piece before she grabbed one of her own. She had been the one to catch it and usually Yami would've insisted that she have first dibs because of that, but she felt that this would win her more brownie points if she were gracious on top of flawlessly talented.

After Firefly tore little fawn in two, she reached to grab half for herself and settled in for some light conversation over a good meal. They'd continue on soon enough, but it was nice to just hang out together for now. So nice that she didn't even notice that the conversation went just about no where... something she'd reflect on only after she'd parted ways with him as evidence that they had never had a thing at all in common. But that was still days ahead in the poor little idiot's future. For now, they ate.
