It was not an explanation she came prepared for. Her ears stood tall, though her expression darkened. Dalia had left them, true, but she could not help the anxious glance she felt pass over her when she tried to imagine what had happened to her older sister. What had they done to her? An attack was vague, and could mean a lot--from the what to the who to the where, it was just the start; instantly, the young gona wanted to suspect that their usual enemies might be involved somehow, even if the timeline didn't match all that well. It was easy to hate them for her after everything. This could be another slight in their direction, and she wouldn't complain if it was.

But, even if not them, Opalia nodded small when her brother asked who, and she settled her seething long enough to want that answer more badly by the instant--so much so that her heart was racing, hungry for more information.  Was it.. here? Or..? She was already interested in vengeance for what they had lost and the hurts they endured before. This could be another possibility.. another purpose, maybe.

Whatever it would be, she intended to hear it out. As much as Dalia would share--Opalia just desperately wanted to understand.
