Take care of everyone for me, will you? Nikai smiled at Arlette and he nosed her cheek, his eyes shimmering with emotion as he said his good-byes. He turned away from them then, sad to say good-bye for now -- fully intending to return after the summer passed -- but eager to get to prove to Alya how well he had trained for mountain life.
