Traveling all day in an attempt to find notable locations, the cowboy ventured onward coming across a thickly wooded forest. What might be somewhat navigatable during the day was turned to pure darkness as he tried to make heads or tales of the turns in the inky woods.

Just enough moonlight crept through patches of the woods to give him an idea of the land, but he was mostly moving through instinct. Truthfully, he should have camped out until morning arose, then at least he would be able to take note of any landmarks or places of interest. Instead, he could only make out trees and noted the feel of moss and soft foliage under his paws.
