It wasn’t long before she was no longer alone. Her head whipped around, slightly startled, and a little self-conscious to have been caught in a moment of weakness. Rosalie dipped her head, greeting the first woman to speak. Her companion, however, was less polite. “It helps.” Rosalie shrugged, and it had. “Besides I assumed only the sea was listening.” She turned toward them properly, stepping out of the water but remaining at a safe distance from the pair.

“Can I help you with something?” Rosalie shook out her paws, water and sand flying, despite her efforts her legs remained covered in grit. Lie held the scent of Neverwinter for the sole purpose of remaining along her child, but held no true loyalty to the pack nor any information as to their allies, and was such completely in the dark about any potential meeting that might be taking place.
