"We can't just abandon children." She looked at Mal in a disbelief he didn't even want to, rather stood at a neutral point, recommending somewhere else to go. It deeply reminded her of her own boy, she would hope wherever he was lost, some wolf would treat him with kindness and open their doors to a lost soul.

"Don't fight..!" She too, then joined the fray of chaos. Her point was not to protect either but rather desperately try and intervene with Liliana and Haruki, looking at them both with a tearful gaze. 

She really only wanted a happy world, with her family, and friends, and a world to protect the young. The Goddess, would disapprove of her way severely, to the fact she couldn't protect her own, much less two strays needing a home.

But everything felt but a cluster to Miriam- nothing goes right.
