Nikai smiled as his mother returned to him and he was glad to get some food in. He mentally noted he should bring some to Keres as well, and ask his mother if she, too, could stay for a little while. It felt good to be home. Nikai was glad to be able to share with Valette all the memories they had of Steady, and Keoni. It had been so long since he'd spoken of either of them to anyone. It was different when it was someone who didn't know them; to still have someone in his life who still had known both of them was good. It made Nikai long all the more for home.
