He was flattered that she thought he was kind- but he felt guilty as well. He was aware of the fact that part of his motivation for coming to the area in the first place was the need to find the fallen star. He had made it clear to Sialuk that he wished to continue searching for it, once the snow had melted- and he had made no promises to her that he might stay with the pack beyond that point. But when his packmate asked him if he would settle, he was silent for a moment. With every passing day, the ring of mountains felt like home. It was peaceful here, and his packmates had all been agreeable. If he left, he might never find a place like this again. 

"I believe I will," He mused quietly. Not wanting to invite more questions into the longevity of his plans in the village, he turned his glance to her. He couldn't see much resemblance between Lótë and Sialuk, so he had already assumed that they were not related. He also assumed that she was not from the pack which had lived on the mountain, either, as her voice had not joined in the mourning songs. "What about you?" He asked, wondering what her story might have been.
