Greatwater Lake I've had enough, but you're too hard to quit

She listened for the spirits in this moment. It was them who would protect her today, she felt it. Selena felt it in the way they tousled her dark fur, soothing her and letting her know all of this was okay. It was to be expected, coming into a new land. 

If the man wanted her dead, she would already be dead. Slowly, the subordinate was understanding the way of living with these wolves. Much more was said with movement and gestures rather than with words. 

This man, just like the large woman, said nothing. As he circled her, she felt as small as a field mouse. Squeezing her eyes shut, the young woman felt the heat and musk from the giant fall dominantly over her. With little distance between them, the scent of the large woman was more apparent on him as well. This set Selena at ease. Okay, so they know each other. 

"Nice to meet you?" The talking was more for her nerves at this point.
