yes, yes it was.
the new year's party had gone atrociously - a slightly-too-pinesap-drunk yonder might've said some choice things to rib's insufferable friends and family. his delightful satisfaction lasted only until next morning, when the guests were asleep and yonder's own attempt to nest was rebuffed, by rib, who informed him that, apparently, he didn't live there anymore.
in his own home.
that he built.
yonder groaned at the memory.
since then he'd been trying to get with any unkindness in the area, but father wind that woman had done a throughout job dragging his name through the mud! every carcass he approached he'd get chased from, every tree he attempted to perch on he'd be pushed off. sweet maggot-mother, he was desperate.
which is why he now stood on top of a big rock, waiting for an opening to swoop down and peck away a gulp of meat from its guardian hunters.
