Sawtooth Spire i will do anything and even more

Star smiled gently down at her new brood. @Calcifer and @Marble . They were precious. She was unsure whether Mahler was angry or not, he had visited her to check in at times, but she had not truly spoken with him much beyond simple words. Even if he was... she would accept all the shame and disgrace, as long as she could stay here, continue to serve, continue to raise her children. 

And @Howl ... that was a whole nother complication. He had two daughters in Kaistleoki, she had learned, and her heart wished he could remain here, even if she would not need his help. But he had a loyalty to his other children too. That was something which she could not break, and Star knew in some way that she would have to spend much time alone. So she must savor well the moments in which he was here. She set her head down on her paws as the children suckled, content to watch them with half-lidded gaze.

Howl is allowed in Sagtannet with Mahler's permission. While in the territory it can be assumed that Mahler is near by to keep an eye on him.

These last few weeks had been tough for Howl. When he made his way to Sagtannet he had this vision in his mind of being able to have Star and his children at his side for as long as he wanted. But Mahler made it clear very quickly that he was only allowed to see his children if escorted within the pack territory and wasn't allowed to rest there overnight.

After seeing Star so exhausted on the day of their children's birth every time he saw her felt like a miracle. For the few days that he had been allowed to visit having her at his side felt... right. He felt as though this was where he was meant to end up. But he couldn't help but think if it was meant to be in this way. Despite his joy, he still felt pain. He had been away from his girls back at KO and every day he spent away from them he worried. Not for their safety, Conner was capable, but about his role in their life. If he were to continue jumping between packs would they know who he was when they got older? He would have to leave Star and their children here soon but at least there wasn't anyone fighting for his role in their lives. At least to Howl's knowledge. 

As he entered the den that morning his first glance was to his two pups. The small light female angle and his girthy big boy. Both resting or eating at their mother's side. His next glance was over towards Star. "Morning Beautiful" a sneaky grin rested on his lips. His ability to visit was unknown to both of them, so every time he did he felt as though they might both be receiving a surprise.

He went over to her and pressed his head against hers and gave her a light peck on her cheek. "How have we been?"

The voice that uttered morning beautiful had her lift her muzzle from the earth, gaze finding Howl, the edges of his fur illuminated by the light streaming in the den from behind him, like some angel. She smirked at her own thoughts. Hello, handsome, She purred, clearly very awkward with saying stuff like this, purposely poking fun at her own personality. Star was not young, but she was just learning how to be romantic. 

He came to her, giving her a light kiss on the cheek which she would return, and asked after her condition. I've been really well, actually. The children aren't too difficult... it's mostly just sitting back and letting them drink. She laughed, dark eyes twinkling. What about you, Howl? How has Sagtannet been treating you?
