88F°, currently it is clear and set during the afternoon. Located in Kintla Flatlands, blackfeather woods
After Stryx was gone for a few days, Connie was growing restless. She was given to be watched over by her friend "Praim" or something rather, but the little fireball didn't like it there. At all. The woman's leader was rude, she would never forgive her for the growl and aggressive greeting that to her, seemed to have come out of nowhere.
And so she snuck off. Just like she did with the riverside wolves, but better this time as she was comfortable doing so. While everyone was sleeping so she didn't have to avoid moving bodies like she did last time, this time she was quiet, careful, cautious and slowly made her way down the mountain and into some... dark forest.
She was bigger now than she was a month ago, still smaller than adults but she was far more comfortable now than she was maybe a month ago. She had teeth now, adult teeth, all she needed now was some bulk and to build upon her bite and the little lady would be fine and dandy all on her own as she seemed to be getting more so of lately than she may have liked. Perhaps it was something she could get used to. For now she was cautious and avoided much movement -
like that one.
Something moved ahead and the little woman ducked down into a bush, trying her best to hide the brilliant fur that adorned her coat. Who was it now? What did they want? Hopefully, they were just passing through...
The desire to conquer is itself a sort of subjection.

Dragoon found herself coming back toward the black forest, as she enjoyed the atmosphere it had held. It felt easy to simply blend into, and disappear into the darkness that the woods held. Now knowing it was not claimed, she found time simply passing within, and somehow, made it a 'home.' The mercenary would eventually move on, but with no goal, or a business behind her job, she had quite amount of time to do; nothing.
Though it seem the forest was popular, but Dragoon didn't know if it was the same reason. She was as white as a ghost, but then there was a ball of fire, trying to hide itself away into the branches. It would be hard to cover such a flaming top, that the wisp simply found herself staring at the bundle, but remaining silent.

As much as she tried to hide in the brush, it was becoming more evident that the colour of her fur just made it impossible to hide. She stuck out like a sore thumb no matter what she did unless it was completely pitch black out and whatever she hid in was as opaque as possible... a new tactic to defend herself would have to be made.
As she peered out of her shitty little hiding place, ruby eyes met the fiery ones of the stranger. Thankfully they stuck out of the dark woods just as Conquest did, the pale fur not doing all too well in the lighting of this place to keep a low profile for either individual. Intensely she stared back at the woman who was curiously looking over to her.

Who...The slow word sludged out in a raspy slow-maturing tone. Barely used as the vocals almost sounded painful.
Are... you? What did they want? Why were they here? Where were they going? SO many questions and yet Conquest could only ask the one for now.
The desire to conquer is itself a sort of subjection.

"I am Dragoon, a mercenary." They were definitely a.. Red wolf. These wilds were, wild in the sense that the ghost kept seeing wolves of a variety. Everyone held some sort of indistinguishable fact about them, and she truly wondered what kind of ancestors these wolves had.
"You lost?" Dragoon asked, seeing as how a younger girl was by herself, and smelled of no pack.
