All Welcome
The chilling touch of seasonal change had settled onto the mesa. Akashingo felt crisper than it had before. It was waiting for the blanket of snow that would cover its flat stone and frost the trees.

Kasmut was not eager for such things. She had already grown tired of the breeze that whispered through her quarters. The pale flower had taken every opportunity she could to huddle near the other Fellahin. She needed the warmth that their bodies readily provided. Each morning she woke with a shiver and a trail of goosebumps that littered her flesh.

As she traveled through the caverns, headed toward the outer mesa, Kasmut thought of @Sakai and where he had gone. She had only seen him outside of the pack. He had been sweet and charming, in his own way. The pale woman had enjoyed his company and sought it again on that day.

The cooler temperatures made the thick-coated man feel like he was back home, and this in turn brought about a more relaxed Sakai. The soldier welcomed the cold and found he was happiest in the unforgiving embrace of winter, unlike many of the others he shared a home with who were more well-adjusted to the heat. Kai had fixed his den up, the one farthest from the center of the kingdom, to look a bit like Sayf's. Why he had never thought to place pelts into his den and only used leaves for his entire life, he would never know. An embarrassing over-sight.

Stretching lazily among the different animals he had skinned, the large tradesman rolled to his back and let his legs splay out lazily as he studied the ceiling above him. There was nothing really on his agenda for today, but still, he always felt like he should be doing something.

A flash of white to his right, a sparkle from the entrance of his dwelling in the outer caverns. Sakai saw the pretty young thing named Kasmut. Now he had something to do. "Hi there, Kas." A boyish grin was offered to the flower petal as he remained upside down but was able to squirm a bit to make better eye contact. He took her in with appreciation, although again, he was viewing her completely upside-down. She looked like a bat perched on a cave ceiling.

Ears flitted beneath his skull and his tongue lolled from the side of his mouth to nearly meet the ground. "How are you enjoying your stay here?"

As though her thoughts had drawn him out, the silver wolf appeared with a boyish smile and a soft nickname upon his lips. The flower smiled in return and waved her tail. He had been a gentleman the first time they had met. Kasmut did not forget the kindness he had shown. So different from the bold nature of the Pharaoh, she’d thought after meeting Ramesses.

Hello, Kai, the pale figure greeted him. She drew her pink nose up and looked over his frame. He looked as fair has he had before, perhaps a bit stronger in the shoulders. The man was pleasant to gaze upon, she was easily reminded. His boyish nature and easy kindness were peculiar to Kasmut, but not unwelcome. Sakai had left an impression, that was certain.

I have enjoyed myself thoroughly. I thought you might show me some of your favorite places here?

Kasmut thought it would be nice to spend some time alone with the silver guardian.

Chosen by the diamond of the sand herself to be a personal escort through the mesa? Kai offered a charming smile in return and felt the honor rush to his head, no doubt making it ten times larger. Kasmut was obviously striking to look at, he wouldn't deny it. And the way she spoke to him. Her carefully placed suggestions as his inferior which were commands in a sultry disguise. Like he could say no to the lady? His curiosity wouldn't allow it.

"You've come to the right man." The large wolf praised the delicate flower, closing the space between them until he was sure she could feel his heavy breath. "Follow me and stay close." The warning was legitimate but also just an excuse for her to brush alongside him.

As a tour guide, Kai was extremely unorganized and yet entertaining. He would show the fair woman far off sights and then immediately draw her attention to another view before really allowing her to take it in. A small insight to the way his chaotic thought process worked. "And over here," The soldier puffed his chest slightly with pride as he was almost sure he was the only one who knew of this spot in the flatlands. "This is one of my favorites." The mazoi slowed his pace so that the flower could catch up in time to see. A few lengths below the ledge they stood on, was another ledge that jutted out even farther with soft grass, uncharacteristic compared to the surrounding rock. This particular ledge was placed just above one of the lush lined rivers of the mesa.

"Would you like me to help you down?"

The pale figure smiled gently at him, pleased that he would agree to escort her. She liked his cheery nature, and some selfish part of her hoped that being seen walking so close with the Mazoi would make her more appealing. Kasmut wanted to be wanted, after all. Just because she would not lay with the other men of the mesa did not mean she couldn’t delight them in other ways. In turn, she would have liked them to make her a happy woman.

Kasmut pressed herself to him, brushing her tail against his hock. She followed and listened to him talk, giggling when appropriate, appearing awed when he would point out something particularly interesting. He maintained the same pleasant aura as he had when she’d met him. There was something comforting in that. It made him reliable.

As they moved to the grassy ledge, Kasmut peered down on it with vague intrigue.

Oh, I would be pleased if you would. I may hurt myself otherwise, she stated breathily to her knight in shining armor. The coral in her gaze danced along his features. She offered him another smile and waited to see how he might assist her. How she might make him long.

Of course he would assist her. If Kasmut were to have refused, the man wouldn't have allowed it. That was easily a twenty foot drop below the two. "I wouldn't have taken no for an answer, Kas." Kai admitted with a gaze that lingered on her for maybe a bit too long. "Here, there is a way down right over here. It is a thin ledge as you can see but just enough for both of us. I will take the side closest to the edge so you can hug the wall on the way down." The pair must've looked like wandering ghosts, perched high in the mesa. "That way, if anyone slips, it will be me who is the wolf pancake." Sakai began his descent with a dark laugh before looking back to his partner in adventure. "I'm joking... mostly. Here, come to my side." Sakai let his head lazily gesture to his left while claws steadily clung to the rock the began to slope to his right.

The flower moved to his side and pressed tightly to it. She could feel the movement of his muscles beneath their brief closeness. Kasmut noted that he was stronger than he might have appeared the first time she’d let her eyes fall on him. It made him more appealing to her, more thrilling to be near, and she could not explain why. Nevertheless, as they moved along the narrow steps of the mesa, she was pleased that Sakai was there to protect her.

Once they had crossed to the other side, Kasmut breathed a sigh of relief and glanced toward him. Her breathing was heavier than it needed to be, but she wished to convey that she had been concerned for herself and for his safety.

I am pleased you were not flattened, she spoke with a shy voice, feeling heat rise to her cheeks. I would have been saddened not to see you. Such a brave man. The soft light of her gaze latched onto his features and hung there.

Her slight body felt delicate beside his and the man stifled a chuckle at how closely she pressed herself to him. Instead he gave the smallest of nudges to her shoulder as the two reached their destination safely. The adventurer was impressed, he didn't know too many who would have braved that ledge.

This time, he did laugh. She was grateful he still stood by her side. "Of course. I'm impressed you stuck with me there. Not to imply that I didn't think you were brave but..." Sakai bounded lightly from her side to fully face the Miss, bowed in a playful stance. "I didn't know there was a fellow daredevil in my midst."

The pale figure could not help but to giggle at him. Sakai moved with boyish strength and agility in a few bounding steps. This was before he spun to face her with a charming expression and a few words of daredevils. Kasmut softened beneath the man’s voice. Even more so at the glint of his ghostly gaze, the Fellahin lifted her narrow muzzle into the air and laughed.

Oh, Kai… you flatter me with your words, Kasmut said to him bashfully.

It was your strength that filled me. You had daredevil to share.

Kasmut trotted to his side, drawing her eyes along his shape in admiration. He was quite a man. It was easy for her to look at him, even enjoy the company that he shared with her. If she had not been made for the Pharaoh, she might have been tempted by his charms and the delightful nature that he shared.

The bastard felt himself give way slightly as the thin model began to saunter close again, his muzzle happily following her scent as she took to his side. He would never say it, but when he had spun to face her and remove himself from her side, this was a show of respect for the Pharaoh. Sakai knew what she meant to him and could not bring himself to let his guard down. Kasmut really had a way about her, though. She entertained all of his nonsense in a way that even had him convinced she wanted more.

"I love sharing. That's why I brought you here." The man smiled softly watching the jewel take her place near him, glistening bright under the remaining light of the day. A pause as the soldier searched her kind eyes before looking over her head to the mesa skyline. "It's beautiful. Have you ever seen anything like it before?"

The flower was touched that he had been thoughtful enough to share his view with her. It did not matter that they had needed a moment of danger. Kasmut had been thrilled by it, every second. She had also been rather pleased to find that Sakai was ever the gentleman. The pale Fellahin could not help but wonder if this was because his heart belonged to another, or if he was truly just a dutiful Mazoi to the Pharaoh.

Kasmut leaned against Sakai, only allowing her frame to touch him lightly. She sought some of the warmth he would offer, but she did not want to make it seem as though she needed to be near him, needed to be touched. Despite it, the thirst to be desired had filled her.

I have seen many beautiful things, but never something like this. I feel so special that you would bring me here, Kai. The pale pink of her eyes shifted toward him and Kasmut smiled.

Her words drew him in and coupled with her sweet scent, the man cleared his throat in an effort to rid his senses of her... but he could still see her perfectly. Sakai again inhaled her for a moment, her figure fitting so perfectly beneath his. The giant's will to not act on impulse slowly began to chip away, revealing a true selfish nature.

"I too have seen many beautiful things..."

You are being stupid.

"None as beautiful as a Diamond, however." The compliment fell softly from his mouth and made sure to fall next to her, his empty gaze continuing to search the horizon but a boyish grin pulled on his black lips.

The pale flower looked to him with her cheeks burning hot. A sweet smile found its way to her lips.

Kasmut loved that he admired her so. She would have had him gazing upon her body for the rest of eternity, if she could have helped it. Sakai, Ramesses, she wanted them all. It was this notion that caused her to lean toward the gentle wolf. She reached up with her snout and brushed a kiss to his cheek. Kasmut lingered for only a moment – just long enough to catch his eye – before she pulled her muzzle back and returned her sights on the scenery.

You are awfully charming, Sakai, she whispered coyly to him.

Her planted kiss to his cheek warranted pale eyes to about pop out of Sakai’s head. Ohhh… she was a bad girl.

“How do you think I’ve made it this far?” The boyish giant felt his voice waver softly in an effort to control himself; he cleared his throat before turning head to view Kas again. This time, she too looked to the horizon. The days were growing longer once more and for this Kai was happy.

He wondered for a moment if he should take the Pharaoh’s prize back. It was his duty, he would not touch a hair on her entrancing frame. He sighed.

“Would you like me to escort you back before the sun falls?”

We have time yet.

Kasmut remained with Sakai until the sun had all but fallen. She walked back at his side, pleased to have his company on the return to the Pharaoh’s throne room. So different from Ramesses, but the pale flower still found him to be delightful company. It could only have been the Pharaoh’s might and nobility that could draw such good men to the mesa.
