All Welcome
breath plumed in the cold air as eivor finished her patrol around the standing stones.

grey gaze searched now for one of the younger wolves. there were enough of them to be a formidable force in the spring — if kvarsheim began now.

shadows danced. she moved among them at a pointed lope.

she knew this one in the vague way she knew any kvarsheim wolf.

yet some part of her was uncertain if her attention was wanted. this woman likely had more important things to do than bother petal. so she looked busy by digging up the roots of a flower. it did not need to be dug up, but she could do it and find a use for it later.

still she stole sidelong glances at the pale woman.

i can let this be a sister cameo if @Foxglove wants it >:)

Edit: shadowposted oops, gotta edit - I don't mind a group thread if yall don't!
Emerging from her seclusion in stages, Foxglove finally allowed her gaze to be caught by one of the Kvarsheim wolves. Eivor — the woman from the borders, the one who had brought the pelt which Fox still clung to possessively in the night. It was hers, she still fiercely believed.

Yet her ears folded slightly with remembered shame and trepidation as she reluctantly stepped toward Eivor. Would the warrior want the pelt returned? Hi, Fox offered quietly, deciding she wouldn't mention the pelt at all. She caught sight of Petal then, and some of the tension faded from her. A faint smile was spared for her sister.

yay! welcome both! <3

ah. the little thief, eivor thought with no malice and much warmth. she is fast and her speed should be put to better use.

who she assumed to be another of the sisters was standing near the drengr now.

"i am eivor," she told the girls. "come with me. we will go fox hunting," came the light murmur, the humour in her eyes as she met that of the child who had run away with a very good pelt.

drawing back, the kappi took some steps away, in the direction of bright yellow prisnálund.

in pairs, or trios, the world was easier. it was why the universe had brought three of them together at once. something had known that they would all need one another.

eivor.

petal had been inclined to shelf hunting as much as she could. after all, the discovery of trade meant that her handiwork with plants and their uses would bring meat in as well. instead she remained silent and looked only to foxglove now.

if her sister intended to hunt, then she would go.
