Her paws beat steadily upon the ground. Despite the hot day it was, she was cooled down from her earlier swim. Her eyes raked over the land cautiously. She had smelled it earlier, and now she was going to find it. She lowered her head to the ground to make sure she was on the right track before raising it again.
She knew that Rosings was working on ridding the foxes from this place and now that she had the chance, she would help them. The scrawny creature finally cam into view. It was the skinnitest fox she'd ever seen, but she could guess it was because of the famine. Her hackles raised at the sight, but she kept calm, thinking of a plan in her head.
