I come from nowhere. Instantaneously, Vaati wonders if this is an opportunity to add another to their ranks. He doesn't see why not, the man is clearly a qualifying candidate and there is space within the dark woods for one more. Though the other seemed to want to move on from the topic and Vaati does not press further. Accepting the offer of lending hand he replies, "I caught the scent of a small herd down that way. We can snag one together." Vaati indicates to his left, having recycled the idea when he had been a sole hunting party. Two, large and assumably skilled males where enough to take down a doe or a yearling, and still be able to split the feast. Loping off in the direction of the scent, he assumes the other will follow. If he did not, it would be an unfortunate thing indeed but it would not offend the teen. Many became uneasy around him as time went on, and he found it a very difficult feat to find any friends. Shrugging off the notion however, he refocuses on the tactic about which they would claim their prize.
