Heron Lake Plateau Road Regrets

He tried to sleep.  Didn't work.  No matter what gets said in other threads, he was still having some problems sorting through it all, so took the chance to go for a walk when he'd be least likely to run into people.  A productive walk at least.  He arced towards the borders, melting into the low light and shadows.  Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't even been aware that someone else was up ahead until the raccoon announced it.

Jolting back to reality, he peered around owlishly until he spotted a somewhat familiar pale shape moving along up ahead. Quixote veered to intercept.  He had smelled her scent around, so it wasn't too surprising that he'd run into her eventually, he supposed.   Hey.  Decided to stay, huh? -- I'm Quixote.  Since before didn't exactly lead to introductions.
