Towhee's reaction was mixed, as Raven had sort of expected. In the back of her mind, she wondered if Towhee might have had her sights set on Quixote. She couldn't help wondering if that was why she had offered him a position of leadership alongside her. But she pushed all that aside for now. Towhee asked her why she was being so weird about it, and Raven looked up at her guiltily. She likewise spoke in ptero so her meaning would be clearer. -"Because I've been irresponsible. I was in heat and we..."- She paused, uncertain how to go on. -"I should have asked permission first but it just kind of...happened."- She couldn't even look at Towhee now.
