Northstar Vale i'm so tired of eating all my misspoken words

She wanted to laugh at his stupid fucking question, becuase honestly, what was it his place to know whether or not she was okay?  He couldn't possibly still give a damn about her or how she felt.  They were nothing now.

I killed somebody, she says abruptly, though her face does not betray her own surprise.  She hasn't said it out loud yet, and it doesn't feel good.  They deserved it.
