Artaax had no idea where to begin his search for his missing sister, but he saw no reason for something like that to stop him. He was blindly confident in his ability to accomplish anything and everything he set his mind to, so he didn't worry too much about not having any real leads. He would find her. Whether by the immensity of his tracking skills or by sheer dumb luck (which he would also somehow manage to credit to some sort of personal prowess), he would find Bat and he would bring her the hell home.

The feisripa sucked in a deep breath as he stood and scanned the slopes that surrounded him. There was a flock of something or other... geese or some other waterfowl... lazing about what looked to be a small lake in the distance, and he had spied a fox darting through the brush about an hour ago. Otherwise, the place seemed void of anything of interest to him. Hence the sigh, which preceeded his setting off again in the direction of the lake and the waterfowl. Bat hunting could wait an hour while he duck hunted.
