dalia's brow furrowed slightly at his comment. while ford could not fully understand how someone as kind and gentle as his mother could love someone like his father-- dalia was having trouble understanding how someone could put the ocean before a living, breathing wolf. dalia loved the ocean, it meant moons to her, but it was not anything that a physical wolf could ever be to her. of course, she didn't put ford at blame for this.
