Nyx was still waiting for like a ceremony or something to make their union official. She didn't want to be an Apaata anymore and Damien had the power to erase and replace that. If she bore good children for him, perhaps he would do it. She just hoped it wouldn't turn into a complete mess.

I was still too young last year.Which probably was for the best if she was being honest. Damien still had his tendencies to disappear back then, but it seemed he was a permanent factor in her life for now.
