the huntress wondered how much a territory could change in just a few days. before, when she could see, she liked to sit and watch the snowflakes drift down atop the frozen face of the pond. tiny bodies would swim just beneath the surface, teasing her with their movements. blondine wondered if they were still there, or if they'd frozen and died in the cold.
