All Welcome
All welcome!

Sullivan explored outside under the supervision of @Aibreann, sticking close to the range that his mother had given. The rain had begun to subside, but the puddles remained—presenting him with a distraction for the time being.

Splashing in puddles was a pastime that Sullivan had grown fond of. With the influx of precipitation, he had discovered the fun that came with the pooled water—especially when one jumped up and down. He approached the water without hesitation, launching himself into it with both a splash and a laugh. Once wet, he continued to bounce around, watching his paws and the spray as he jumped up and down. Sullivan didn't know how long it'd take for Aibreann to tell him to stop, but he enjoyed himself for now.

personally, finín loved the rain. he did not get the dreary faces so many observed it with in the slightest! it was water falling from the sky!! how cool was that? adults just sucked he guess, thank god he didn't have to be one of those.

also, there was no thrill quite like splashing @Aibreann and having to get out of dodge before she had a chance to react. he was quite the pro splasher if he did say so himself.

so of course, upon spotting sully frolicking in one bigass puddle; finín sniggered quietly and went all slinky with his quick approach. impish grin sprawled across his features, he'd give his butt the biggest wriggle and spring himself forward, using momentum to stir an absolute tidal wave at his brother with a delighted "gotchu sULLYYYY!!"

--seconds before his slippery skid cost him his balance and he face planted right into the very water he'd stirred at his sibling.

finding other kids here who loved the rain as she did was a delightful thing. nüwu was not always in the mood to be drenched, but when she was, she eould go outside and move from puddle to puddle, place to place, taking in all of nature. when she heard an excitable shout while wandering, her ears canted forward, and she bounded towards the sound like a young deer. there she found two boys, one soaking wet, and the other even moreso as she managed to arrive just in time to see him faceplant. the little girl giggled without meaning to, before clearing her throat. can i play too? she wondered, little dark tail wagging back and forth.

Sullivan stilled and turned at the sound of Finín's voice. "Fin—HEY!" he greeted, but was interrupted mid-sentence as the groundwater wave slapped him in the face. "Finnnnn," Sullivan groaned, wiping his face clean with a forepaw. Once his vision cleared, Sullivan saw two unexpected things: his brother, faceplanted in the water, and Nǚwū, whom he'd never met before.

"UH," he said, his words momentarily stifled by the conflict at hand—he was concerned for his brother, but also wanted to be welcoming to the girl. "Yeah, sure," Sullivan finally answered, as he moved to his brother's side and proded his brother's shoulder. "You 'kay?" Sully asked with palpable concern.

UNCLE CAMEO

While he knew he owed her a proper visit, Jackalope had for the most part simply let Aibhreann be. They'd shared a couple quiet conversations- but as soon as her children beckoned, he'd leave. Children- especially when they got to the age where they could talk back and had grown in their adult teeth so they could also bite hard, he lost interest in them...If he'd had any interest to begin with. He didn't, really- he'd politely done his best to avoid taking on any puppysitting duties for his sister since he'd joined the pack. But....He did want to know what they looked like. He wanted to see one thing in particular...

So he found himself drawn by the squeal of children's voices, and crept as close as he could to peer through the evergreens toward where the children played, doing his best to remain out of sight so they didn't try to rope him into any of their stupid games, or demand that their uncle become their chewtoy. He observed the three for a few moments, ruling one out, immediately, as not belonging to the Blackthron family. Cute pup, but he didn't care about kids who weren't his responsibility. One of the other ones, the greyish little male didn't look much like a Blackthorn either, though he wasn't entirely sure what the father looked like. The third- another boy- had exactly what Jackalope was looking for. A dorsal stripe.

His favourite chosen, he decided he might possibly invest some time in the child that showed the most promise of becoming a proper Blackthorn (yes, simply because of his markings) before he sauntered off at a trot.
