Though she had been keen in following the brothers for some time, neither held her against her will to stay; Meadow—or Engi, as they called her—was free to come and go as she pleased. The raven’s land had been good for them thus far, he thought as he turned back to the pair, and they would make good on keeping it that way while it served as their base of operations.
