Hideaway Strath Firestorm

Whrist made eyes contact with her grandmaster and with a shine in her eye she bared her teeth allowing just the tip of her tongue to peek from the front of her mouth, playfully for a brief moment before she became serious again.

She nodded to Nyra her eyes softening, She couldn’t help but think about her near loss and her desire for a more thorough win however she needed to tamp down on her need to soundly win, even near wins were still wins after all. She gave herself a mental kick  and nod, she had to grow up just a little.

She obediently followed the two larger pack mates,  She was of smaller stature and darker, as they drew even closer she crouched and nearly belly crawled stalked to the far side of the animal the lead pair had honed in on. She moved slowly and meticulously soundlessly as she got into position to startle the beast away from it’s protective numbers and toward her pack mates.

She drew a deep breath and glanced toward where she knew Nyra was she could not see her though the grass, so she waited a few more moments for them to get into position then stalked closer to the deer snapping at it’s side and legs like a common border collie herding sheep.

She did not go for a hold just yet, She was hunting with a pack and she needed to play her part, they needed to get this deer away from the herd so the Buck wouldn’t come to it’s aid. She’d have her moment to sink her teeth into flesh and taste it’s blood, but right now she schooled herself and controlled the deer’s angle of escape in the direction she wanted.
