Broken Boulder Pebble Peddler

Like her older brother, Marble wasn’t thrilled about the move. She had her own reasons (rocks are one thing. Being forced to change a constant in her life was another), none of which she said aloud or outwardly fussed about it. No matter what she did, it wouldn’t change the fact that they needed to move for whatever reason. It’s out of her paws. Unfortunately.

At least Calcifer made the process go more smoothly. Without the extra hand, she probably would’ve gotten close to blowing her top. Transporting precious cargo was a hefty task, so it was nice to throw some of the work onto her brother.

Marble had barely even looked at Calcifer since they had left the mountain. She was much to focused on the task at hand. But now that they arrived at their destination and her kin addressed her (tried to at least), she acknowledged him.

She turned towards him, patted the earth with one paw, and gestured to the woods surrounding them. Here. She gently placed her bundle of rocks she had carried near her paws, sat down, and let out a sigh.
