It was before the festival that Mal had come to explain the news, but Huā had not been willing to abandon the party she had planned entirely. And so they had celebrated, with a nervous energy bottled within the empress all the while- and soon after, she had left on her way to Moonspear, informing @Aiolos before leaving that she was looking to speak with Hydra- and of course, she had explained everything Mal had told her, about Simmik's sudden dissapearance, the suspicions that were whispered amongst those who knew. To Huā, it was no suspicion. After everything she'd learned of that asshole- what he'd done- she was sure. He'd captured Hide, and Aphrodite before that. And now, Simmik! A pretty young woman who'd been fooled by him once before, calling him a friend when they'd first met and she was uninformed. And now, she was gone. The empress would find a new sickness if there were more kidnappers present in these areas than she realized, but was determined to get to the bottom of it all. And though she was the queen of the sea, there were none so great as @Hydra , the queen of all the wilds. Huā saw her like a bright beacon, everything she wanted to become. All-powerful, with a large family and a steady marriage (as far as she knew). If there was anyone who could make men fall to never rise again with a tap of her claw, it was the Queen, and Huā came to the borders that day with this hope: that with the help of her greater ally, evil could be stomped out once and for all. Women who ruled with their minds were far greater than men who ruled with their body.

She threw back her head, summoning her friend and keeping a politely cautious distance from the borderline.
