Lil' hunter thread for @Lumiya! <3

As much as the raven didn't want to admit it, her skills were very much lacking during these snowy months. Once upon a time -- probably before winter even hit -- Luna wished to prove her capabilities by doing things alone; tracking, stacking caches, bringing loads of food home-- every skill she admired about those bread-winners she looked up to as a kid. But through all her failed attempts was the slow and reluctant acceptance that perhaps  not everything could be done by herself.

It was probably why she was sitting here now -- grumbling in a frustrated ball of fluff because a baby elk she had tried catching kicked her in the forehead and managed to get away. Coping mechanism? Sit in the berry feild and mope about it.

Dawn brought with it the winter chill and cold sun - a light dusting of new carpet upon previously recognizable tracks as it had begun to snow again. The fae cared little for the cold, with her thick winter coat and the endurance of a faerie queen. She noticed only later that she'd traveled farther than intended, but it was no matter really. The saints had been quiet, much like the entire world that seemed to slumber in these months.

She was enjoying the scenery for a bit, having already caught her meal some time ago, now looking for something else exciting. It was then she spotted a wolf similar in stature with the coat of a starless night. Greetings. The fae woman called when in earshot of the other.

Lunaria was quite preoccupied with, well, being a curled ball of frustration (and the stinging pain that rang in her forehead didn't help much), until the sound of footsteps within the snow made her ears prick in alert. The moon nymph's teal gaze blinked to adjust for a moment, and promptly shifted towards the source of the woman's soft voice.

What they'd eventually fall upon was a she-wolf of similar stature to her own (something that was rare to Luna), and an odd gaze of pastels to compliment her unique, monochromatic pelt. "Oh! Hello there..." She responded to the Faerie, standing from her previous position to properly confront the approaching stranger. There was something...ethereal about the air around the woman -- ecspecially with the way she'd greeted her. 'Greetings' sounded a bit formal....
