she floated through the breeze like a dream on endless moonlit waves of subconsciousness. drifting, weightless, in a realm entirely of her own. undisturbed, numb to the surroundings she passed by, her attention lost to the misty fog of her eternal thoughts.

and then the breeze shifted direction, and the sylph found herself diverging from her original path. 

she let the wind guide her, the soft patter of footsteps creating a rhythmic beat that matched the gentle thrum of her heart.

and then he appeared, a flame in the thick cloak of smog. a light, a warmth, a comfort. she sought to greet him with an affectionate smile, soft blue briming with delight and wonder.
