Wheeling Gull Isle courtly

there'd been a flame of affection, no greater than that of a candlelight. she'd thought with a simple gust of wind that it'd be extinguished, destroyed. but it had remained, steadfast, burning with a warm fondness.

and at his words the flame grew.

the gust of wind had not smothered the flame at all, it had ignited it into a fire.

warmth crept upon her cheeks, a blush burning and buried beneath fur.

"i have never been courted before," she began, soft blue not shying away from the molten of his gaze even as he rest the bundle before his feet.

"but i would very much like to experience that with you." for a moment she thought her heart might beat out of her chest. excitement, affection, fear, desire, anxiety, restlessness. they fluttered around in her core like newly hatched butterflies.

her feet shuffled, and she wait for his next words, if any more were to come.
