It's about time these two met! :3 Assuming that this would also be before the relocation.

Could also maybe turn into a trade thread for the two?

According to Germanicus, Alstroemeria was not the only skilled or aspiring healer of Mereo.

There was another among them, and she was ever so curious.

Searching around was used to be the old plebian housing, despite the fact they had yet to discard the use for the dens, the scarred woman searched for she who's name had been given.

@Paeon, is it? She asked softly upon finding the woman.

It was a time of transition. The pack had yet to move south, but more and more members were visiting the new terrain or clearing out their existing housing. Paeon stood in the housing she had called home the past week and looked around. She felt a bit antsy. Like the was missing something. There must be something to do... something for her to clean. Anything that would fall under the category of productive.

As she stood there stewing in her thoughts a voice came from behind her. Looking over her shoulder she saw a heavily scarred and marked female. There was no mistaking that she was the one who first spoke at the forum meeting earlier in the week. Being so new Paeon had no strong feelings about anything that happened in the meeting in particular, but it was good to see a pack and its members all on the same page. As this female had been the first to speak, along with her various battle signs, Paeon was sure this woman had legendary potential.

"That's right" Paeon proclaimed turning to face her. "Nice to meetcha. I saw you speak at the forum meeting earlier... and you totally wicked" an intended compliment.

Wicked. Oh? This was a new term... or in other words, something she had never been called before. Though, it seemed to be a form of good will, so she had no reason to be taken aback, regardless of how odd the terminology was.

Simply, Alstroemeria offered a gentle nod of thanks, accompanied by a small, sincere smile. I spoke what I felt was truth to hear. Nothing special, as she often decided.

The imperator mentioned you had an interest in healing. Is this true? Surely, if it came from the man's lips, it would be true. But here and now, she wished to hear it from Paeon herself.

She heard from the Imperator, did she. That meant that he was talking about Paeon to others within the pack. A good start. "Right again. Is there something you need help with? Any recent injuries?" she asked while taking a quick glance over Ali. With all of her various scars and marks it was hard to determine if any of them were fresh.

The imperator's words were true, yet again.

No, no... nothing like that. I am a healer of sorts myself. With you being new, I thought it best to introduce myself and share what common interests we may have. Even if healing was the only commonality, it was more than Alstroemeria shared with others of Mereo.

A healer. With all those marks? Paeon questioned what Ali was saying but then again, she could have taken up medicine after her injuries. Or as a result of her injuries. "What sort of healer are you? How long have you been a healer?" and the questions began.

Questions. So many questions. This woman was clearly an experienced tactician when it came to interrogations.

Simple ways of healing, I suppose... I can mend smaller and larger wounds — even the ones that may leave a wolf with permanent damage. For those that have spoiled their appetites too much, or those who have broken a limb, I am able to work with them until they have returned to health. Just a few ways to explain... but, did it really require a lengthy tale?

I have not yet learned the ways of a midwife, but I hope to soon. And soon indeed. If only Germanicus would give her permission to do so.

As for how long... I cannot say precisely. I began to learn as a child, but did not return to the trade until later in my years. Somewhat truthful, these words. There was more to fill in the blanks spaces, but that was better saved for another time. And what of you? How much experience do you have?

As the Marked women began to describe the types of healing she was able to perform Paeon was a bit disappointed to hear a traditional response. She hoped for something more... unique. Alas this was not the case and as she further went on to describe a desire to be a midwife, Paeon although mentally noted how the subject didn't interest her. She supposed if an unborn child were endangering the life of a mother, it could be a worthy cause, but it sounded lacking in the ways of hero potential.

"The basics I learned from my mother. She's our pack's lead healer so I frequently looked over at her craft. However, there were plenty of other interesting trades and specialists where I'm from, so several other things pulled my focus."

Not getting the answer she wanted earlier she prodded. "Do your scars have anything to do with you returning to the trade?"
