Swiftcurrent Creek twilight's last gleaming

there is no surprise when bellatrix's path crosses with one of her pack mate's during her patrols.

it's a given.

a comfort of being apart of a pack.

of something bigger than herself, that which the commander has found herself finding comfort in more and more lately.

moss, she recognizes the woman from her joining — and from their crossing paths. but cannot say she has ever went out of her way to get to know the other woman.

time to change that, the commander thinks, letting out a low chuff to draw moss' attention.
