Verdigris Ravine crimson sun

Meridian fled, leaving carmine drops behind her. She managed to drag herself to the ravine, before collapsing from exhaustion as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. Two miscreants, two meetings, that had been all it took. Her wounds were shallow as the pool they had tried to drown her in. They would heal well, with time. 

There was much to discuss, when someone arrived at the sandy sunset scene.

If nobody arrived to her calls, she would drag herself to the spot that she had made in her nest, with resentment burning inside, like the sun.
