All Welcome
maybe @La Reine but all welcome! warning for slight gore, dismemberment?

She pursued the nimble hare on the ice. Sleek footed as the rabbit was, it made a fatal slip, when it dashed to change directions at an angle. Isra was quicker, snapping at its scruff and spine, careful not to break skin. Not yet. With enough pressure to its neck, bone snapped, and the hare went limp in her jaws.

Dropping it at her feet, placing a paw over it, she tugged at the tawny pelt until it came free with a tearing sound. Droplets of crimson on the ice.

as the brute, the invader, sullied her polished halls with unclean feet, giving chase to what was meant for the pleasure of a royal hunt - she watched.

but when it took for itself her belonging, fresh meat meant for her larders, the queen stepped down - delicate shoe noiseless as it took to ground from the height of a pine.

the loup busied itself with the kill. the queen's steps were long, even, languid and quiet, not even a rustle of skirts to announce her, the wind of her claim serving her.

when she could judge that a few quick leaps would be enough to entrap the vagrant, la Reine de Feumont announced herself.

mm, iz zhat meant for moi? her purr accompanied by a small smile, yet a venomous look in her slit green eyes.

Isra would always wonder, observant as she was, how the cat managed to sneak up to her. When the pompous feline announces it's presence, it took a moment for the mottled female to collect her bearings. To fight a cougar would be foolish, and so she established that demeaning the creature would be a better offense. Besides, what was one rabbit? She'd already relished the kill, the scraps were no major loss.

"Take it, then. I can catch another hare." A mocking grin curved onto her lips, taking a step back, if only to allow the mountain lion access to the carcass. "You must be starving..."

once the loup surrendered the stolen item, the madame was quick to pull it to herself, with an over-pronounced zhank yeau.

a corner of her lip dipped at the followup, yet the proud queen did not assume malice from a lesser. she scoffed, head raised high.

non, ee enjoy meals wizh, 'ow yeau say, multeetude.

from the corner of one eye she looked at the loup.

boot yeau must be bold, or, somezhing else, to steal from one such a' moi.

she turned to force her stare into the peasant.

zhis is ma land, payson. iz zhat clear now?
