Nova Peak When all the knots we've tied have come undone

She jumped right on there, and apparently their minds followed the same vein.  The surprise at hearing her own words lent itself to giving her a good laugh, and she was surprised by the sincerity of it.  This was it.  She didn't know why things had changed, or why this was so different from her time in Duskfire, but already she could feel it.  Maybe it was that this time, she had an honest-to-god friend here.  Tuwawi had been kind, but Danica had hardly known her.  Maera had been closest, a child who could have grown to perhaps be a good confidant but never given the chance.  This was different.  And, if Bazi was to believed, she might have more than one in time.

"You'd have to get on top of them first, and somehow I don't see that being easily done."  Her agility was not exactly impressing anyone at the moment, though Danica couldn't speak seeing as she'd been in the same boat a mere few weeks ago.  At least Bazi's own stupidity hadn't done this to her.  Well... yes.  But at least this was the sort with a very positive outcome.
