Profile of Zephyr Wolf: Details
Appearance
Fur-wise, Zephyr’s body looks something like a gradient from gray to white. The tips of her ears and tail are dark gray. Her back, from the top of her skull to the tip of her tail, is the darkest at a neutral gray color. This area is flecked with some black as well. Then, her fur lightens to silver. The under part of her tail, muzzle, stomach, and legs are white. Her eyes are a silver-blue color.
Physically, she is tall and weighs about 125 pounds. Zephyr is lithe on her feet; she is an agile, excellent runner rather than a fighter. She does not like extended amounts of physical activity, however, so her stamina is not very high.
Personality
Zephyr has a very active mind. She’s often focusing on many different things at a time, but sometimes that means that she is neglecting things happening in the present that she should be focusing on. One prime example would be social situations. Not only does she not always focus on who she’s talking to or what she’s talking about if she doesn’t find it important, Zephyr is also very bad with talking to others. She has a hard time relating, for the most part, and can’t think of anything to say. If one speaks with her for the first time and she’s not comfortable around them, they should be ready to practically talk to themselves and get an occasional nod, smile, or opinion from her for the most part.
Since she is always thinking, she often can look intimidating. Her eyebrows very easily could furrow with thought, her nose could scrunch up, her eyes could dart about, the corner of her lip could curl and she could scowl, or her tail could start moving around. Despite looking serious and sometimes a little threatening, Zephyr is a sweetheart from the first second she meets someone new, unless they give her a reason not to be. It should be noted, however, that she probably has social anxiety; talking to new wolves, or unfamiliar wolves, at least, makes her incredibly nervous. She has problems with making eye-contact, and also fidgets while conversing and very closely monitors what she says, which sometimes results in her saying nothing at all or just getting a pained expression on her face and trying to smile. Due to all of these problems (and more) that she has had with socializing, Zephyr has, for the most part, given up on trying to converse with anyone who doesn’t approach her first.
If she is comfortable around someone, though, she opens up and can be fun to be around. She laughs often and tries to incorporate humor into as much as she can. She becomes noticeably more confident and talkative as well. Zephyr gravitates naturally toward anyone who she deems most important.
Biography
Zephyr was born to a pair of wolves who had left their previous pack in hope to start their own. She had been born to a litter of three, two males and one female. When the youngest, and clearly favorite, member of the litter, a little black wolf, wandered away and was killed by a predator, Zephyr’s mother was absolutely heartbroken. It was almost as if her only pup had just been killed, as Zephyr and her brother did not seem to matter to her, and she was not taking it well. She began to seclude herself from the rest of the family, which caused a frustrated and more aggressive father. Fights began to break out between the two, which became increasingly more violent as time went on, and the idea of starting a pack was crumpled up and thrown away. Due to all of the fighting, Zephyr and the rest of her family were all living in hell in their own home. None of them were very close. One day, after at least half a year of conflict between her parents, Zephyr’s mother badly injured her father before fleeing. Worried of getting attacked by her unstable father and unsure of how to deal with the situation, Zephyr merely stood beside her brother and gawked at the scene. Her brother had been the first to step forward and try to inspect the nasty bite wound on his father’s front paw, only to be snarled and lunged at. All that Zephyr remembers after that is the awful, horrible sound of conflict, a sound that she hated so much, as she dashed from the den. She had been driven to the point of leaving and living on her own, even though she figured that she probably couldn’t handle independent life.
Zephyr did well for an adolescent wolf living on her own. For the most part, she stayed holed-up beneath a rock, her designated home, and tried to avoid danger. She let food come to her, which worked fairly well, considering she was quiet and didn’t move around much. She lived like this, isolated from everything, for a little more than three moon cycles. Then, when she was almost two years old, she became confident in herself and began to explore the area nearby a little more. Zephyr finally stumbled upon the Teekon Wilds and found herself amongst the ranks of a pack.
Relations
As of right now, Zephyr is completely alone in the world. Her remaining family (mother, father, brother) should all be living still, but if she never spoke to her parents again, it would be completely fine. Zephyr never had much of an opinion of her brother, though she would like to get in touch with him sometime.
Pack History
Zephyr was the first generation born into a newly-formed pack, but never had responsibilities duties, considering that it disbanded about half a year after her birth. She is completely inexperienced with pack life.
