Her mother fled when she saw her still, lifeless body. Soon after, however, her tiny heart began to beat. Helpless and weak, a coyote mother who had recently lost her own children found her and took pity on her. The rest of her life was spent running with coyotes, and from them she learned stealth, cunning and wit.

One dark day, a huge black wolf claiming to be her father approached her and the coyotes she resided with. He told her to come with him, and naturally she said no. He was angry, but left. That night, he returned and asked her again. Once again, she said no. One of the coyotes sprang at him, and so did the rest. He slaughtered them all, then turned to his daughter. Bloodlust was evident in his eyes, as if realizing what he had done. "Forgive m-" he pleaded, but she was already gone.

After a brief time in Redhawk Caldera, everything began to go wrong and Tempest left the pack for some time to track down her lover, Mikael and be alone with herself.

While alone, a chilling encounter with her father left her almost dead. After some time on her own, she found one of her former packmate, Fitz, and founded Silvertip Mountain with him. There, she is trying her hardest to attain especially her healer trade, and in assisting her packmates however she can. She recently was reunited with Mikael.
