She was born to a lone female and doesn't know anything about her father. Tauska had three other siblings, but just like her they were all weak and soon died a few days later after birth. But Tauska was stubborn and clung to life even when her mother thought she would not make it. So the loner mother raised her daughter; barely passing a word between them, only what was necessary and to the point. Love was not shown in the relationship, only knowledge. So when Tauska became of age and her mother thought her smart enough to take care of herself she vanished in the night leaving Tauska completely alone. At first Tauska searched for her mother but after days of no luck, she gave up and instead began to wander alone. She hopes to find a pack but with her lack of social skills she is unsure if anyone will take her in.
