Appearance

He isn't very large and stands only about 24in at the shoulder. He is of the brown-coated variety, and sports a russet-brown mask with ticking on his muzzle, legs, and belly. His tail is not docked. Eyes are a soft amber and give off a strong impression of alertness.<BR><BR>
The laboratory did a number on his overall well-being. His legs are badly scarred from spot testing various chemicals, and most of the areas are missing fur completely or are still red and irritated. His left eye is slightly cloudy, and the tissues around it are inflamed. He has heavy scarring on the back of his head, but no sign of current injury. He was also debarked to lessen his vocalizations; he cannot shout, and his volume is restricted to just below a normal range. He has a tattoo signifying his number on the underside of his right ear: #329. <BR><BR>
Currently he is suffering from a mildly sprained right hip, road rash on his left side (with missing fur), a torn up ears, and a multitude of bumps and bruises.

Personality
A bit standoffish and shy around unfamiliar faces, but ultimately a go-getter. He is very driven to succeed and constantly looks to others for approval. On the other side of the spectrum, he suffers from severe general anxiety. He often injures himself during an attack in a wild attempt to refocus.
Biography
Spectre was a victim of abandonment. After being a loyal hunting dog for four years, he was goaded by his drunk owner into attacking and killing the neighbor's chickens. To avoid litigation, he was left at the pound where he was picked up by the lab.
