Upon first impression, most would call a Darrah a bitter old woman who has been soured by the world— and that is because that is exactly what she is. A wise and strategic manipulator, Darrah sees the world around her as a giant chess game. Other individuals are simply the pawns used to achieve her goals. A warped libertarian, Darrah would give the likes of Ayn Rand a run for her money. Her individual freedom is of the highest priority. A proponent of self-reliance, Darrah gives no hand-outs and sees pity as life's greatest insult, in that it robs an individual from the personal growth that stems from struggle. One can do more harm to the world with an open hand, than a closed fist.

Despite all this, Darrah is extremely hypocritical in her actions. While she values freedom, she would subjugate/enslave the masses for her own personal endgame. The ends justify the means. Darrah's loyalty belongs to herself, and herself only. She has been on both ends of the spectrum of betrayal and wields lies like a sharp sword.
