A wolf of average size and stature with slightly larger than normal ears, a trait inherited from his coyote blood. Artem has a dusky black coat with lighter patches of browns dispersed randomly throughout, intense golden yellow eyes contrasting harshly against the darkness of his fur. His gait is perpetually haggard and loping, yet eyes and ears remain alert and wary.
